Submit Your Music
Whatever your sound, rock, hip hop, electronic, jazz, folk or anything in between, Radio Adelaide would love you to submit your music. As Australia’s first community radio station, we’re proud to support local and Australian artists by playing homegrown music across our programs, every day.
If you’re an independent musician or band based in Adelaide or anywhere across the country, getting your music on air is a great way to reach new listeners and connect with a community that values creativity, diversity, and local voices. Our presenters and music team are always on the lookout for fresh, original tracks to feature.
Submitting your music is simple. Just follow the instructions below to send through your songs and include a few details about yourself or your band. We recommend sending high-quality audio files and any artwork or press material you’d like to share.
At Radio Adelaide, we’re passionate about supporting emerging and established artists alike. By sharing your music with us, you’re becoming part of a proud tradition of independent Australian music and community radio.

How to Submit Your Music?
What format do we want your music in?
Email us your music digitally by WeTransfer, or via Dropbox or Google Drive (just make sure your files are set to ‘Public’!).
We prefer files in .WAV format, with the following specs:
- Sample Rate: 44,100Hz
- Channel: Stereo
- Bit Depth: 16-bit
Please also make sure you name your files correctly with the artist name, track number and song title. Ideally in that order, please!
What other information is useful to us?
Your email should also include:
- A press release or bio about you, your influences and achievements
- Links to streams of your music so we can share it quickly (e.g. Bandcamp, Soundcloud, etc.)
- Details of any upcoming shows in Adelaide
- Links to more info, such as social media accounts or your website
We broadcast more than 100 programs each week covering every genre of music. Take a look through our program guide for any programs relevant to your music and include them in your notes so that those program makers can see it at a glance.
Are you a South Australian artist?
Around 20% of the music we play is South Australian, so make it clear you’re a local!
Which tracks do you suggest we listen to first?
If your release is an album or EP, consider highlighting one or two specific focus tracks. Not every presenter can listen to every song on every album, so tell us which tunes to check out first.
OK, got it. Where do we send to?
All music and music-related enquiries should go to [email protected].
